Album Review
CCM superstar Sandi Patty's Definitive Collection, which is essentially a neutered version of 1989's 14-song Finest Moments compilation, culls a mere ten tracks from the singer's 30-year (and counting) career. Most of the fan favorites ("More Than Wonderful," "How Majestic Is Your Name," "We Shall Behold Him") are here, but for an artist with this large of a back catalog, it's hard not to wonder why a more comprehensive overview doesn't exist.

Clean Lyrics?
I haven't bought the album, but I do know all the songs and be assured that her voice is absolutely amazing. Not to mention the great duets with Larnelle, and Wayne. I am however mysitified by the "Clean Lyrics" attached to it. I didn't know Sandi had a gangsta remix with unclean versions.
Sandi Patty: The Definitive Collection
This is a great CD, it's not new music, but rahter some of Sandi, the Queen of Gospel, best hits dating back to the early 80s. If your a new Sandi fan, this is a great compliation that really shows her voice. She has a new CD releasing in April, "Falling Forward", it's great, consisting of fresh, new songs.
A Good Collection
Although there are some of my favorite Sandi Patti songs missing from this collection, this is still a good sampling of the music that only she can bring to life. You will not be disappointed with the 10 songs should you choose to buy this album.
