Buy it.
A great EP by an artist who has total command of her instrument (ie, her voice). Her singing recalls Mazzy Star's Hope Sandoval, Aimee Mann and Sheryl Crow, and the textured, mostly acoustic music is perfectly suited for her. Her reworking of the hair-band classic, "Edge of a Broken Heart" is sure to end up on the "Breakup Playlist" of many an iPod owner. Do yourself a favor: spend $5 on the whole EP and prepare to chill.

I have been waiting for Brie to release her own work and the time has finally come. These songs are amazing, honest, and beautiful. I love her voice and the themes she addresses in her music. LIstening to this endlessly right now. Hope this is a taste of what is coming. It looks like she is going to start doing some shows and begin focusing more of releasing her own work. Cannot wait!
Spectacular singer and songwriter
Amazing EP. Brie has a wonderfully clear, silky voice. This album has beautiful melodies and great songwriting. Definitely worth your time to listen. Make sure you also check her earlier songs from the NOOMA film series.
