Deluxe Edition is a wonderful 15-track collection that compiles all of the highlights from Little Charlie & the Nightcats' first six albums for Alligator Records. Although a few of the individual albums hold up reasonably well, they are all a little uneven, which means the appearance of this best-of collection is all the more welcome. Not only will it satisfy the needs of the curious, but fans who just want the cream of the crop will be thrilled with this record.

Deluxe Edition: Little Charlie and the Nightcats
Great party mix of rockabilly, blues, and blues-based boogie. My favorite is: Don't Do It! Each verse has more profound meaning and provokes a bigger belly laugh than than the entire career spanning box set of Brittany Spears. Honestly! They don't let up. I get a huge silly grin on my face everytime I hear this song.

I agree with rsterberg It just makes you happy to listen to these guys! even their name. You don't listen to it to get any profound insights to the meaning of life...or maybe you should! Ha! Just good playin rock a billy bluz!
