Album Review

You always know exactly what you're in store for with a new album by the charming lads in Dying Fetus — blastbeats, nimble finger riffing, and of course quite possibly the lowest-sounding growls known to man (courtesy of John Gallagher). And guess what? It's exactly what you get on the group's sixth album overall, 2009's Descend into Depravity. All of the album's eight tracks follow the same "push it to the max" blueprint, so take your pick of any, and then run for cover — "Your Treachery Will Die with You," the title track — any will do the trick. Even though it's pretty darn impossible to differentiate one song from the next, at the very least you have to give Dying Fetus credit for continuing to push sonic limits to the max — as evidenced throughout Descend into Depravity.

Dying Fetus Engorges my Skull with another masterpiece!

I was lucky because the record store only received one of these cd's today and I got the only one. These guys f'n destroy! Listening to this album is like having your skull sandblasted. They are even tighter rythmically and even more technical than ever before. The best thing is they stay true to their music. Buy this album and prove that you have the taste for brutal, epic and extreme american metal! Listen to the Fetus!

AWESOME!

I downloaded this a week earlier, nd i could not stop listeening to it. One of fetus's best!

Best album they so far

I've been listening to Dying Fetus for a while now and wasn't very "excited" about them(couldn't find another word for it). I thought that the better quality in War of Attrition was great but the songs weren't too good. But as soon as I heard this album I jumped on it ASAP hoping they'd gotten better and SURE ENOUGH they did!! This is the greatest death metal i've heard it's so perfect the guitars are AMAZING coming up with catchy riffs every song. The drums couldn't get better and the bass I can HEAR!! I've always like that about this band, you can HEAR the bass. =] Overall I give this a 10/10 even though it's son a 5 star system!! GO BUY THIS ALBUM THE SPECIAL EDITION COMES WITH A PATCH AND STICKER!!!!! Best death metal of all time!!! You can't dislike this music it's impossible
