FUN, CATCHY SONG!!!
I LOVE THIS!!! I downloaded this song 1 1/2 years ago. It reminded me of songs from Kylie Minogue, Madonna, Eiffel 65 and the like. Ordinarily music has to grow on me. I liked Desenchantee the first time I heard it. Kate is a very capable artist in the dance genre. She has gained some popularity in Europe and deserves recognition in North America. I recommend that you search for Kate Ryan and Kylie Minogue on wikipedia. You will find some great music! IF YOU WANT A HIGH ENERGY TUNE, FIND THE SONG "LIBERTINE" ;-)
Two excellent, energetic, songs!
Kate Ryan has done and amazing job with these two songs! Her voice is awesome and the beats are fast paced and fun. In my opinion, "Desenchantee" is the best of the two. The original version of the song was done by a Canadian artist named Mylene Farmer. Kate has simply done a faster, higher energy version of the original. After doing these two songs, Kate has released two albums, "Stronger" and "Alive". Over time, Kate's sound has improved considerably but these two songs, are every bit as good as her newest music. "Desenchantee" has actually become somewhat of a guilty pleasure for me. I play it often and the song can stay in my head for a long time!
HIGH ENERGY SONG!!
Kate Ryan is an excellent artist with a great voice and a smooth sound. This song is one of her best! It is a remake of a catchy song by the Canadian artist Mylene Farmer. Kate's version of "Desenchantee" is no better or worse than Mylene's, it is just different. Kate's music is as good or better than many artists in the Dance genre and I'm thankful to have found her work. Her newest album "Alive" is great in that it features four more songs that are performed in french. "Je t'adore" is amazing in my opinion could be a major success in the US!!!
