Ruby James ' "Desert Rose" combines many influences and musical styles beautifully for outstanding full length debut Album. Perfect arrangments and production compliment the stellar performances, and there is alot to like here for a lot of people. Ruby's vocals make you feel the pain, sorrow and longing as if it was you own. A genuine ruby with a voice as powerful as a DESERT ROSE!
This Album is awesome. The first song I heard on the radio, Everything Good Goes Away is what turned me on to Ruby's voice. She is a true ruby with a gift! I have been surrounded by musicians all my life, and I know a good one when I hear it.The vibes are there and I know she will make it to the top. Truly a genuine Desert Rose! She is the new Stevie Nicks, Bonnie Rait, etc. She is RUBY JAMES!!! Her voice will make a flower grow anywhere! Keep on keepin on, my friends.
