duh

It's Horse the Band, just get it.

Simply Great

I got into the HORSE game late. After AND came out, but have since fallen in love with the crazy 5 -piece. While enjoying AND very much I later found TMH which at the time (until now which is DL) was my favorite HORSE album. I hoped there next album would be a mix of those two albums and it sure enough is. Desperate Living is fantastic, I was worried when the Prophet and Dash left but this band has done it again. Its diffrent, great, and moving the band foward, unlike AND which i feel took the band 5 steps back. So do yourself a favor and check out Desperate Living its a fantastic piece of art. This is what music is suppose to be.

Mind Blowing, enchanting, continuing to question everything you belive to be real

First off if you describe this band as "nintendo-core" your just choosing not to think. HTB has so much more to their sound than the 8-bit keyboards and like 3 or 4 songs thru out their catalog that has nintendo sounds or samples...nonethe less this album is truly a masterpiece. it does get away from the metal to give thru a new cleaner epic, spellbinding sound. the soundscapes created truly took me on a journey thru high and lows. happy and sad, love and anger, resentiment and overcomming...I truly recomend this disc to anyone that can think outside the box, and strive to be beyond your wildest imaginations... so far i have absolutely enjoyed everything HTB have done fom borlax to now everything better than the last. it is truly amazing to witness what they have done, and to see what the future holds. I do hope they continue on to fight the good fight. Beacuse if HTB stays strong the will conquer the world

Borlax, a noisy but undoubtedly leading light in the burgeoning post-hardcore subgenre of Nintendocore (wherein musicians use specific instruments to mimic the sounds of Nintendo games). They returned in 2005 with Mechanical Hand, which was produced by Matt Bayles (Isis, Norma Jean) and released through the Koch imprint Combat. Nathan Winneke (vocals), Erik Engstrom (keys), Eli Green (drums), David Isen (guitar), and Dashiell Arkenstone (bass) proved...
