2nd chances
Deuce, the 2nd album released by Rory Gallagher is just as excellent as his first self-titled release. I have a hard time with iTunes classifying this as Blues,
the first two songs are Rock songs, the 3rd is an acoustic blues song, songs 4, 5 and 6 (In Your Town, one of his best songs in a live setting) are definitely Blues Rock and track 7 could be an old Muddy Waters song, track 8 is a great rock song, and track 9 is another Acoustic Blues with Celtic Folk overtones and finally finishing off strong with 'Crest Of a Wave' , a 6 minute juggernaut. Classic 70's Blues-Based Rock. Fans of Clapton, Foghat, Savoy Brown will love this album.
