Brilliant soundtrack
The title song, Icarus, is amazingly brilliant.
An amazing soundtrack for an amazing game.
Human Revolution is an amazing game for many reasons, but one that sticks out a lot, and the one thing that sticks in your mind long after turning the game off, is the music that plays behind everything in the game. It is an electronic score reminiscent of TRON: Legacy, but it creates a futuristic identity of its own.
I've been waiting for this score to release for quite some time, and it is the first thing I've ever pre-ordered on iTunes.
The whole CD sounds amazing, with the exception of maybe one or two tracks. Everything else is haunting and beautiful at the same time, and you can't make a wrong purchase with any one song, nor the CD itself.
If you like electronic scores even a little bit, like Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross' The Social Network score, or even Daft Punk's work on TRON: Legacy, this CD is worth a listen.
An amazing soundtrack for an amazing videogame. Highly recommended :)
About time
After spending countless hours and many sessions playing this game, I'm overwhelmed that this incredible score is available. Fan of the game or not, I highly recommend this album. The music is deep, dark and very haunting. The iTunes previews are only the beginning...
