Leftovers perhaps
Stranger than Fiction was a masterpiece of new ROCK. Not really sure how this one came about and what was intended but it doesn't live up to STF. Dover, give us some more!
Smiles Vertical For Miles
Everything Eric Dover has touched is better for it. His own offerings, though, show just how talented he is. Devil Angel feels like a continuation of Stranger Than Fiction but certainly not leftovers. A lot of my old favorites have fallen to the wayside in study of these great songs. Perfect combination of expectation and surprise with more to offer every time you listen to it. The album is short but leaves you wanting more. As long as he keeps putting this much work into his songs I'll be happy to keep buying them.
