cool programming, but not terribly gripping
It strikes me there are two streams of music released under the auspices of 'glitch': 1) Rowdy bleep-crunk and 2) downtempo idm. This album is most certainly part of the latter. The programming is tight, but you find yourself losing interest in the ambient slosh of most tracks. The only real standout is Vibesquad's mellow bass roller "Kaleidascone". If you're looking for a "Hello, Welcome to Glitch" album, this is not it.
excellent mix of artists-nice set
Very eclectic. Overall slightly laid back IDM grooves that really kick. Highly recommend if you are a glitch/idm fan.
Mediocre, except for one track
The VIBESQUAD track "Kaleidascone" is real nice.....everything else is just o.k.
