Love love love love love it.
Daniel Licht is amazing.... what a perfect match of composer to TV show. If you're a fan of the show you've probably noticed the music throughout: while the blood theme is the most obvious one, what often goes unnoticed is the darker stuff and the tension music, and all of that is in this compilation. Dark, moody, tense, and a little bit beautiful: that's what this music is, and it gets 5 stars from me.

I love, love the music in Dexter and this is a real treat to have Daniel Licht's score finally available. I can't wait for the album to Season 4 in August that supposedly will also include the songs used in the show.
Lacking
Though the album is loaded with tracks I can't help but feel that there is something missing from this album that was in the first season soundtrack. This album is filled with dark tunes that are centerpieces from most of the kill scenes or action scenes. What is lacking is the light whimsical cuban music that added texture to the first soundtrack. I guess this is worth buying if you are a Dexter uber fan but of you are expecting greatness then you will be let down.
