Global Folk Music!
What a wonderful meshing of such diverse ethnic sounds! It is unique and amazing, a must listen.
Love it, but this isn't complete
Fabulous music! But this recording should have 8 tracks on it. Hmmm. I'll take what I can get, but why is it so hard to get complete albums?
Great. But You Gotta Be Flexible
From what I've heard, To Darkness is one of the only english speaking song on this album, but that's why it's called the Dharohar Project.
The reason why it's 4 stars is because people listen to the previews and are expecting the old Mumford and Sons. But for one, this isn't completely them obviously, it's a collab, and two, we're not musically flexible enough to understand this album and what kind of definition it's highlighting.
But truth is, this is talent. True and amazing music has been put into the making of this album and many people can't see that past the cover. Try to stretch your listening a little to hear past the language in which they're speaking and focus a little on what they're singing along to! Like the others said, it's a fun album, but you gotta have an acquired taste for it. Just think of Mumford and Sons suddenly turning indian. Bam.
