Nice one...

This show is actually pretty awesome. Unfortunately the sound doesn't match the vigor of the band. They are truly ripping. You almost need to buy this simply for the back and forth at the end of FIRE. This is truly hilarious and awesome. Bobby, Jerry, and Donna fire back and forth screaming, wailing, and carrying on in a very rare and fun way. The beginning of FIRE, Jerry is playing very well, slow, very 'wah wah-ee", my personal favorite kind of Fire. Ripping LAZY LIGHTNING, SUPPLICATION is smoking hot, borderline insane, Bobby returns to "MY LIGHTNING TOO" at the end of Sup, which I think really brings it home. Good banter between songs. Sadly the show just sounds 'damp'. If it was clear and crisp it would rival the greats. Still, lots of good overtime but weak sound, not like your old tapes but not the clarity we've come to love.

This is Fun Grateful Dead.

This is just an awesome buy, great show's! Out of 182 shows seen, I would of traded half of them to see these! You can tell the band is really having a great time performing together. There is a point in dancin where Bobby's growling makes Donna break, and crack up. They are just havin fun playing!. Even Donna sounds like she belongs. Scarlet >Fire simply said smoooothh. Very tight, very awesome!!

The legend has it...

that the whole band had taken mescalin prior to the 5/11 show which would explain the wildness of Donna, Bob and Jer during Dancin and Scarlet>Fire.
