Interesting Early Work
While lacking the polish and staggeringly complex layering of later releases (most notably "Menschdefekt", an absolute masterpiece by any standards), "Die Rein" displays more than enough ingenuity and power to keeps the listener involved through its hour-long run. One song in particular stands out: the Endorph-Fusion vs. Reiner's Festung mix. It's stunningly intense; creepy, punchy and flawless for nine straight minutes. Absolutely recommended, but buy the rest of the album too.
