Customer Reviews

Can't believe nobody has wrote a review for this yet.

I thought for sure this band was a lot older and from England. I am sadly mistaken. You have got to give Austin a chance there are a ton of cool bands there and theses guys may be the coolest. I find it strange that on the two reviews for their two albums that neither reviewer seemed to mention the fact that this band sounds like three bands (without ripping them off BTW) and believe me that is not a bad thing. Clinic is one that might make you think they sound like the Black Angels considering when they came out and what not. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Jesus and Marychain are the others. I had downloaded "Hellhounds on my Trail" and never did much research on this band. Apparently when I downloaded that I must have downloaded two other songs from that album. Prodigal Son is just downright awesome and becomes the heaviest thing you will ever when they get into it. So I had to check them out, and low and behold, all of their songs are awesome. So pick this one up or start with their first one then pick this one up. I guarantee you I will own one of them by the end of the week!

amazing

Stumbled across their first album and bought this one within the week. Haven't listened to an album over and over again since using casettes in my car as a teen. Fantastic, droning, wailing, a sonic journey.

I want more.

I buy every little thing I see by The Black Angels. Ones of the most amazing bands I have heard in such a long time. Performing live the are equally if not more amazing. It's like the 60's but not. It's like Jim Morrison came for a cup of coffee and left. It just feels good on me ears.
