LOVE MCS, HATE THE NEW SOUND

Title says it... MCS has a unique and interesting sound. They make you want to listen to them because they aren't just another rock band. This song doesn't sound like them. It's too "hi we are another rock band." I hope the rest of their new stuff sounds a little more like their older music, more unique and less mainstreem. Maybe they are targeting a different listener... "expanding their range" perhaps... Two stars for not being themselves. That's my opinion.

Incredible, As Usual.

Motion City Soundtrack has never released a track that I thought wasn't catchy somewhat. They are my favorite band and super talented. It seems like everything they touch turns to gold. With "Disappear" they add yet another amazing song to their resume. It's very catchy, different from their last album, but still hangs on to their roots. This song is amazing, just what I expected from this fantastic band. Can not wait for the album, "My Dinosaur Life"! Let the genius continue. =]

Good but..

I absolutely love this song, however it sounds nothing like Motion City. It's a genre that I could listen to over and over again, but its nothing like what I've come to expect from these boys. I love the song, but hope the CD sounds more like their older stuff.
