Heartache and sadness has never been so funny!
One of the funniest yet most depressing CD's this year. GM&C definitely manages to balance country and synthpop and make you laugh all at the same time. Notable tracks are "Tacos In The Corner," "Linda," and "I Have To Laugh"

So I faintly expected this album to be slightly ridiculous (and it is) but filled with really good music (and it is) but the real surprise is how good it is. I find this album to be the next step in the musical evolution of Gravy Monster (Cactushead just sent a cd of his admittedly incredible noodling around) and, seriously, I would tell all my friends to buy this album. I have, in fact, it's not my fault they're cheap. I even find myself listening to it when no one else is around and I'm sober. Well, mostly sober. To not have one little drink would be an insult to everything GM&C stands for. So raise a glass and buy the damned cd already.
