Who cares if they're remixes?

The point of this music is to make you dance and in that sense, it delivers. If you listened to this album without reading the titles of each song, it could easily be the next Stereo Total album. One of the best dance albums to come out in a while!

The one band that really didn't need remixing?

I'm such a big fan that I can't bring myself to give them lower than 4 stars, but that said - this band should be tamper-proof from dj's b/c they're already so good at what they do (remix and revise cultural influences: dj/disco/punk/french ye ye/60's europop/experimental/etc) - they really do not need anyone (Mad Professor) taking their already inventive sounds to any further level... But as with any group that likes to experiment, this is a worthwhile album of remixes from the "Bambi" cd. Highlights include: Chelsea Girls remix, Everybody in the Discotheque (I Hate), Je reve encore de Toi...

Too Hot To Relax Baby Be Cool

Stereo Total have never released a bad album. In fact, they have never put out anything less than perfect pop/rock/electro/dancing feet/sweaty brow brilliance. Françoise Cactus and Brezel Goering are the anti Euro Trash girl and boy. Have fun. Be sexy. Buy this album. Only fault- I wish there was a remix or slower alt version of 'Relax Baby be Cool'.
