These 12 gentle melodies done as soothing instrumental lullabies by Fred Mollin (who also produced the set) will hardly ruffle any feathers, which is obviously the point, and the versions here of classic pieces like “All I Have to Do Is Dream,” “What a Wonderful World,” and “Brahms’ Lullaby,” among others, are warm and soothing — everything one needs to calm the world.

FRIDAY THE 13TH PART VII: THE NEW BLOOD!!

This is (I believe) the same Fred Mollin that wrote the soundtrack to the seventh Friday the 13th outing. Not sure if I want that dude serenading my child. But who knows?

Fred Mollin is an award-winning producer, songwriter, and film composer. After playing in several Canadian bands as a teenager, Mollin moved to Toronto and began producing albums during the 1970s, scoring his biggest international hit with Dan Hill's 1977 ballad "Sometimes When We Touch." He relocated to L.A. during the 1980s, decreased his production gigs, and focused on composing music for TV shows and movies.
