Faster Stronger Slicker
I remember passing on their eponymous first album because it sounded too mellow but this one got it just right, right from track one. Makes you feel like you're roaring down a European road in a Ferrari Spyder under a full moon . . .
From Chill to dance
I for one, did buy their first album. When I heard them in a coffeehouse, I was instantly drawn to the mellow electronic style. What did it for me was the incredible vocals of the very hot lead Geri Soriano-Lightwood and the talented mixing of Ramin Sakura. When DOS came out, I bought it as well as was even more blown away. DOS combined that wonderful Avant Guarde 007 James Bond style with electronic club, making a (no pun intended) Supreme album. Can't wait for the next one!
One amazing tune ...
Since no one else has mentioned it, "Rock and a Hard Place" is one of the best songs I've ever heard. First came across it on Veronica Mars. It has an incredible sultry-bluesy feel to it that just sends shivers down my spine.
