The best Darkseed album

This is the album that pulled me in with this band, and I haven't looked back since. Diving into Darkness is a perfect blend of metal, goth, and some of that growling stuff other people like. Just enough that it is tolerable, and very melodic. This album creates a very sleepy, meditative feeling, completely absorbing you into the songs--and there isn't a bad track on this album.

The standout being Can't Find You. I heard it on college radio back in 2000 one night, around 1am, and it stuck in my head for the following week until I finally had to know who this band was--Can't Find You is heavy, moody, dark, and really pulls you into Darkseed's sound.

Autumn, Rain, and Many Wills are other noteables. If you're a metal, goth kind of person this you should definitely check this album out, and if you're not sure just buy Can't Find You, I bet you come back for the rest of the album.

I'm not sure what you can compare it to--I'm more of a traditional metal guy, so all the black/death types of metal I am completely ignorant of, though I've found when I listen to the band Tiamat I catch more than a similarity between the two bands.

Nuclear Blast immediately caught...
