Grew up wlistening to Freestyle in Chicago
I know my music...believe me. The only two good tracks on this CD are Scars of Love and Treasure of my Heart. Two good tracks, that's it! The rest are weak.
This isn't even close to Schommer's best mixes... :-\
Like Alfie 1 said, this is a weak mix indeed. I listened to a lot of freestyle (along with house, hip-house, euro, techno, etc.) in the late 80's-mid 90's, and I regularly taped the B-96 "dance party" mixes. This is just not up to par with any of them; it's just too bland and forgettable. If you want to hear a really good freestyle mix from Tim "Spinnin'" Schommer them you MUST get "Freestyle Boom Volume 1" (sadly, he has yet to release a volume 2). That CD is great to listen to over and over, unlike this flavorless flop.
