The latest from Steve Means "Do Something" highlights the singer/songwriters ability to mix toe tapping melodies, his unique voice, and addicting guitar into what feels like a greatest hits album! To say Steve has found his niche, found who he is as an artist is an understatement. His finely crafted songs like "You and Me" and "Christine" will have you singing along just a few seconds into the chorus. In a saturated music industry where the likes of Ke$ha and other artists are autotuned to the point of you not even being able to distinguish a human vocal from a robot, Steve Means talent is a breath of fresh air. Do yourself a favor and fill your iPod with his discography. You won't regret it.

This record is a giant leap in showcasing the depth of Steve Means' talent. All songs are hits, but they appeal to different groups while preserving all the same soulful qualities I like about Steve. Runaway is like early USHER. You and Me continues the cool funk, and Til Monday is funk like Michael Jackson funk. Christine is pure pop, but again, with a robust soulful voice. Do Something touches reggae, and Tonight, a little Motownish. Awesome record, and radio-ready on numerous genre/stations.
Always solid
Steve Means is a real artist. He travels the US highways alone and lives off Panera so we can hear him live. He records in his hotel rooms and writes in truck stops. This collection of songs resonates with that real feel to it. Entertaining, and top quality. Great work Means!
