The Best TRS Album Yet!

Break It Out - 4/5 This was the first taste of Do You Feel? that fans got. It's strong offbeat keeps you leaning forward on the edge of your seat ready to leep. The chorus hits and you're up and off your feet! So Much Love - 5/5 The first single from Do You Feel? An obvious choice for obvious reasons. Beginning with a qwirky piano beat to a driven chorus that is impossible not sing along with. This song is incredibly positive and inspiring. A clear highlight of this song is the Saxaphone solo. Do You Feel - 5/5 The title track makes you want to do something better with your life. This song opens with a mellow electric guitar and a building energy that you can feel underneath the vocals into a strong sing along belt it out chorus. Save - 5/5 This song was released a week or so before the album on rollingstone.com. Bryce belts out the chorus...good luck singing along on this one without getting a soar throat! All I Have - 5/5 This song goes from an eery organ line that puts you back in a mid-evil cathedral and bounces you straight back to '07. This song is really revealing for Bryce. You can hear his heart in more in this one than others. High Life Scenery - 5/5 This is my personal vote for the next single. The opening verse is drum driven and builds to the chorus in which Bryce accuses artists of not singing their hearts out and of posing. A Song Is Not A Business Plan- 5/5 This is a shot at those artists that are only concerned with the business part of music. The chorus is addictive and of course this song has the obligatory Bryce Avary ooooh oohwooh oooh! Taken Aback- 4/5 Wonderful song. Some highlights are.....the entire song! Colors - 5/5 Absolutely amazing! Run To You - 5/5 The first ballad of the album. Once again you can hear Bryce's heart and soul. Hold It Up - 5/5 Hold It Up is a simple accoustic guitar driven song. The chorus reminds me of "there's gonna be claps and singing along...". Waiting – 4/5 This is a wonderful song. It is well written and performed flawlessly. Highlight: Harmonica solo! So, In This Hour… - 5/5 The build up from the verse to the chorus and the transition is amazing. This song, while it may not ever be a single, is one of the best songs ever released by the Rocket Summer. On a side note, this was the encore at the SLC CD Release Show and was absolutely fantastic. I Just Don’t Think I’ll Get Over You – 4/5 This is the only all acoustic song. It is a cover song originally done by Colin Hay. It’s a good song however acoustic is not my thing. Bryce takes a normal song and makes it outstanding Overall- This album is one of the best I own. And I own many! The only reason I rated a couple songs 4/5 is because the 5s are so stinking good.

Incomprehensibly Incessantly Irresistable!

Alright guys here's the deal... I am the type of Itunes shopper who looks at the first three comments and the rating of an album and greatly considers those in my decision to purchase it, but that is as far as I go, so if you manage to take the time and find/read this review kudos to you. Here you will find, alongside others, praise for THE GREATEST album of 2007. I have MAYBE written three comments in my five year stint on itunes which means I preserve this action for the most prestigious music I encounter. I'm sure I could go through song by song and say why each one is great and which are my favorite, but, because I am not one of the first few comments, and my review will simply be used to make nothing more than a dent in the customer overall ranking, I will simply say this...I got this cd four days ago and I have only gotten through the first four songs because I have been repeating them so much! I even got the new yellowcard cd at the same time and I haven't even opened it yet! YELLOWCARD CAN WAIT BUY THIS ALBUM!

Amazing as always.

Buy it. Don't question. Just do. :]

The pride of Colleyville, TX, Bryce Avary recorded and released two initial EPs before taking the Rocket Summer to stages worldwide. Avary signed with The Militia Group in 2002 and released the Calendar Days LP a short time after; a gifted songwriter and musician, he played every instrument heard on the album, debuting a lush, layered, and exuberant sound that blended alt-rock and emo influences with references to his faith. The Tim O'Heir-produced Hello, Good Friend followed in 2005. By that time...
