One of the best indie discs out
This collection of tracks is so gritty, so smooth, and so unlike anything I've heard all at the same time. Download the whole damn thing, and when you're done with that, buy Serengeti's Dennehy from iTunes immediately! MUCH LOVE GETI!
love to hear this now, fresh
i think that this album is exactly what i needed to hear to re-assure that you can still be creative when putting together a album. nowadays most ideas have been recycled over and over. i suppose "fresh" is the best word to describe this.

Serengeti & Polyphonic, an avant-garde hip-hop duo from Chicago, didn't officially form until 2007 with the release of their debut full-length, Don't Give Up, but the two musicians had long been a part of the city's experimentally rich music scene since the early part of the millennium. Polyphonic, born Will Freyman (also known as Polyphonic the Verbose), grew up in Champaign, IL, playing classical piano and jazz trombone, among other instruments, performing in everything from Indonesian gamelan...
