True to their later form.
Not nearly the quality of their mid-career work (In Sides, Middle of Nowhere), but as good as anything off the last few albums. It's great to see them back at it, though!
Orbital never dissapoints, and these new tracks are fantastic!
Looking for integrity in Electronic Music? This is it. Orbital (The Hartnoll Brothers) are some of the finest songwriters in all of music. Their electronic arrangements and melodies are instantly recognizable, and often imitated. These new tracks are terrific, and embrace the feel and sound of older material with the addition an updated sound palette that includes modern digital synthesis without losing touch with their analog roots.
Unbelievably good
Any hardcore Orbital fan will be delirious after listening to these. Phil and Paul mentioned in recent interviews that these new songs were penned strictly for their live set, and they will be barn-burners live. I think "The Gun is Good" is about as crazy-perfect as an Orbital song can be.
