Finally -- music with some substance
What a great record! I heard "Wrecking Ball" and was hooked -- I downloaded the entire record and have been listening to it non-stop ever since. It is so refreshing to hear someone with this much passion... this record has a raw beauty... it captured a live performance that must have been truly captivating.
get me to Nashville now!
This record makes me want to jump in my car and drive to Nashville and catch Nathan live. Nathan's lyrics are passionate and the music is "hard hitting east coast piano rock" w/ a little Gospel for good measure. There are so many great lines on this record. I love the lyric "my 401 is low, but I quit doing blow, so I think I should be able to save". My favorites tunes are "Wrecking Ball", "Back Yard in Brooklyn", and "Broke and Hollow Man". Great record Nathan!! Keep them coming.
