Indie Artist Review
Dreams and Inspirations by Craig Smith is surely one of my favorite instrumental CDs. Containing a cross section of guitar pieces either written by Craig, or arranged by him for acoustic guitar, for example “Scarborough Fair”. The CD displays the versatility of the guitar and the way the Classical “Finger” Style of playing is able to get so much out of six strings. As was said by the composer Beethoven of the guitar played with the fingers, instead of a pick, “the guitar is a miniature orchestra in itself”. Also check out “Six String Orchestra” by Craig Smith which follows this theme further.
