Scott Grimes and Dave Harris collaborate to release a long awaited album. After several years of hard work, they have created a set sure to satisfy. Before you know it, you'll be looking back fondly on all the love you've experienced yourself whether it was fun, hopeful, passionate, hurtful, or just plain wonderful. While Scott plays guitar and piano, his voice is truly his most valuable instrument. Set to music that charms the soul, each song will pull you in a little closer to memories you thought you'd forgotten.
"Drive" is a perfect description of this album!
Scott's latest release is wonderful! "Livin' on the Run" was a tough act to follow, as it showed a wide range of Scott's ability, and the song writing was stellar on that CD. "Drive" is a near perfect follow up. It's an impressive entry, with many moods. Some tracks (Hide, Corner Pub) embrace the feel of a summer tune perfectly! We can always use more of these songs, and he delivers. Others are far deeper, and meaningful. "Back into you" is very thought provoking, and engaging song, as is "What Love is". Listen CLOSELY, and the more you do, the more you get from tracks like these. Scott is no "flash in the pan" actor, attempting to break into another genre of media dominance. It is clear, with songs like these, this is a dominant talent, and something that he's passionate about! Ending this with "(I Don't Wanna) Let You Go" is another true test of Scott's real range, and talent. This song does what the title suggests, leaves you wanting a bit more. Hopefully, there will be more from this incredibly talented voice in the very near future! "Drive" is a wonderful project, and I highly recommend it!
Drive is AMAZING
It's rare for me to like every song on an album but I can't find one I don't like on Drive. Every song is tied for my favorite! Scotty's music is from the heart and it shows.
