Album Review

On their third album, Dude Ranch, blink-182 follow in the same path as their first two, turning out 15 tracks of juvenile, adrenaline-fueled punk-pop. Some listeners will find their potty humor ("Dick Lips") somewhat irritating, but the group has written some surprisingly catchy hooks, which might win over skeptics. The songwriting is still a little uneven, but overall, Dude Ranch is an improvement over their first album, Cheshire Cat.

Their best, by far...

For anybody that is just getting familiar with blink 182, "Dude Ranch" must be your first stop on the list. This cd is a big part of my life and the soundtrack of my freshman year of high school. In fact, everyone and their mom listened to this album at my school. I remember my friend and I hanging out one night listening to a California radio station called "KROQ" when they played "Dammit". I was blown away and immediatly got my hands on "Dude Ranch". Throughout the years of 1997-98, this album hardly left my cd player. What I enjoy most about this cd is that from start to finish, the tempo doesn't slow down. If your just getting into the "punk world", listen to this!

the one album that changed my life.

This is the greatest album ever made. there is nothing more to it. Punk rock was on point in the late nineties and to be there for it all was great. I saw these guys in 98' with MXPX for $5.00. That was punk rock back then: fun, on edge, and cheap. Sorry most of you missed it. Good luck with Nickelback!
