Obsessed
I will admit- after listening to the Prey on You EP I wasn't quite sure what I was going o think about this album- I wasn't all that crazy over any of the songs on the EP. Thus, I was totally floored by the awesomeness that is Dying & Falling. I don't know how these guys came up with the gorgeous melodies that are present in pretty much every song. Each track is totally unique and strong enough to stand alone by itself, I don't think there are any mediocre songs on this album, which is insane because for me on any artists's album there are usually only maybe three or four stand-out songs. With Dying & Falling I find myself re-falling in love with each song every time I listen to it, and I have been listening non-stop these past few weeks :)
If there is one song I would say is my ABSOLUTE favorite, it would be the title track Dying & Falling. The lyrics are haunting, and the imagery painted really sticks with you. Plus, the subtle trip-hop influence works so seamlessly with I:Scintilla's style that I hope they continue to experiment with it!
This is by far one of my most favorite albums ever, I can say this without a doubt. I would recommend this album to any music fan, whether or not they are an Industrial/Electronic enthusiast or not <3
