Customer Reviews
Another great album!
Vault 101 is full of awesome and I also really like Going Home. A lot of nerdcore or nerdrock can sound kinda like a gimmick but KK raises the bar in my book!!!
Beyond the novelty, these guys ROCK!
After meeting Kirby Krackle at a convention, I thought they were a nerdy, two-man garage band that tried to find it's niche in the comics/video-game scene. I bought their debut CD, partially out of pity... was my first impression wrong! Not only are these songs fun, but they've got legs and don't get boring once the novelty wears out! I love, LOVE their debut album, and snatched up E is for Everyone as soon as it was available on iTunes (even though I think I actually prefer to have the CD--I just couldn't wait).
I've listened to E is for Everyone several times now, and it holds up very well to their debut album. The songs are clever, the tunes are catchy, and I can listen over and over again. My favorites are Ring Capacity, Great Lakes Avengers, and Dusty Cartriges and Longboxes on this album. I do feel like the first album Kirby Krackle was a little more experimental with their music, and it paid off. Despite that, this is a great album and I highly recommended!
E for "Extra" Power
(couldn't resist the early X-Men in-joke, there, sorry.)
This album is awesome. I really liked this group's first effort, but I freakin' love this one.
The whole group has improved here, and every song impresses in its own way.
If you like clever, slightly tongue-in-cheek but still reverent rock music about comic books and other much-loved nerdy stuff, this is the top of the heap right here.
