Songs for guys with beards and the girls who love them
Bridge And Tunnel have found the college radio “Goldie Locks zone” with the perfect balance of indie and hardcore. These songs are made for guys with beards and the girls who love them. If you own a pair of olive drab shorts this is mandatory listening. Unrefined, scratchy, and melodic, Bridge And Tunnel venture down the same road as Braid, Grade and Hot Water Music, without getting stuck in their ruts. Harsh instrumentation provides the horsepower while well-written lyrics are the fuel for combustion. The intertwined male/female vocals are tumultuous, hopeful and angst-ridden as they conjure up aggression and docility in the same moment. Very few bands pack this much punch. Don’t miss out on this one.
This is album is special.
The music, the lyrics, and the artwork all combined makes everything about this album 5 star worthy. The order of the songs seems to be well thought out and that greatly adds to East/West.
High Quality Material from NY/Long Island
I was so pleased to find out that two of the gents from Latterman were in another band, and as soon as I heard the album I knew it was a gem. There are so many great elements to the album it is very well thought out and has a sound, that to me takes many of the great aspects of Latterman, and builds upon them. The female vocals are also a nice addition furthermore adding to the overall excellence of this album. Buy this album and support this band.
