iTunes Review
Guster have yet to release a boring tune. Every single song on 2010’s Easy Wonderful is catchy. The opening “Architects & Engineers” is loaded with Beatlesque barbs and Beach Boys-inspired "oohs" that grapple the listener as the indie-boy charm of singers Adam Gardner and Ryan Miller work an earnest kind of magic. “Do You Love Me” is perfect guitar pop — it’s got a nostalgic narrative, church bells and an uplifting bridge that would have had Sassy magazine issuing out a “Cute Band Alert” had it not folded in 1996. The buoyant “This Could All Be Yours” is another obvious standout with its soaring refrain while the mellower “Stay With Me Jesus” plays like a spiritual Kinks ditty. Continuing on a quasi-theme, the acoustic based “That’s No Way To Get To Heaven” and the danceable “Jesus & Mary” flirt with religious imagery while casting more hooks than a fishing net. Of the four bonus tracks “Well” gets the hushed folkie treatment, “Jonah” rocks with reverb, “Lost At Sea” bounces on piano-rock and “OK Alright” gets a bit roots-y.

Wonderful
I would first like to start off by saying that none of these songs are in any way christian, if you think they are, you obviously are not aware that guster is a completely jewish band (except for joe who's gone) , and Guster has said many times that stay with me jesus is not a christian song, and neither are any of the rest. As for the album, i thoroughly enjoy it. i think that do what you want and jesus and mary are the only songs i dont like. Yet another great album from a great band.
Too overproduced
Where are the bongos of old Guster? I recall the days of rocking out at their concerts and watching Brian's hands bleed. This album is so poppy, it makes me think of the partridge family era music. So sad, Guster, I am so sad. I don't know what happened, but I am bummed with this one.
Guster does it again!
Call it an amazing progression, because that is what Guster does. Every album that they have come out with is one step up from the previous one. There has never been one album where they have taken a step back, and lost something when it comes to being original and sounding different. This album has so many surprise tracks that are so stand-out that YOU HAVE to buy the album. There is no single on this album, all of them are singles.
The silent "strong song" are:
1. This is how it feels to have a broken heart
2. One the Ocean
3. Do what you want
Ryan said it best in an interview, you might call this album their most "Pop" album, but to them they are enjoying what they do, and only do it to have fun. This album shows that 100%
Enjoy
