Unoriginal
It's amazing these guys haven't been taken to court yet. Blank & Jones used to be innovators and have their tracks played over and over again, and they truly created some classics in the trance genre. But for the last few years they have been blatantly copying sounds and rhythms from others. Listen to the intro track here, then listen to the intro of Nitzer Ebb's classic Getting Closer. Apart from the drum, sound familiar?! I could go on. I know these two are capable of more (their Relax albums are worth checking out for balearic chill-out fans), but they really seem disinterested in even trying to get out of the box. Guys, step up or give up.
