Happiness for your ears...

I've been waiting for this album to be released for months now, and it has not disappointed. Prchal's intimate vocals and acoustic finger-picking bleed soul on "Heavy Clothes." The poignant "Peace Not War" should be the anti-war movement's protest song of our generation. The desire and yearning of "Soul Shaker" are emotional connections that anyone who has ever loved will be able to relate to. The country jangle of "Another Fool (In Love With You)" will have every foot in the room tapping by the time the first lyric hits. All of this before "The Settling Cliches" goes and breaks your heart. This album is pure musical beauty from start to finish. There is a little something for everyone, and a lot of something for any music lover. Treat yourself...buy this album.

Something original

One of the best new albums to come out of the refreshingly awakening Chicago music scene these days. What a transformation the scene has gone through, and this guy's creativity and passion is a shining example of why.
Every song on this album is different yet it all fits together in a sound that is uniquely attributed to Mr. Prchal. Can't wait to see where this goes. Personal favorite are Castle, Soul Shaker and Peace Not War .... but they are all good....no skipping on this disc. If anything it leaves you wanting more.

Talent

Talent isn't something everyone has; Kevin has more talent than 90% of the artists out there today. Since I've first heard his music in 2004 in his old bands I have been drawn to his unique voice, creative song structures and chord progressions, and his meaningful lyrics. This is an album I highly suggest you purchase and support. One of my all time favorite songs, amongst all artists ever, is the last track on this LP, The Settling Cliches. Congrats Kevin!
