Eidolon
This album rocks. From start to finish, the music pumps and carries you. Even as a band not yet signed (read "financially supported") these guys show they are capable of doing what musicians do at their best, that is to take you to another place, to let you forget your troubles, and maybe even to inspire. Many of these songs flow well together so best to buy the album rather than randomly clipped songs. If hard rock is not your pleasure, pass on this one. Progessive rock is not for everyone. But neither is rap or pop or American Idol, thank god. Way to go Rishloo. Can't wait for the tour.
Eidolon is Great
This album is fantastic. Four extremely talented musicians writing heady music that inspires and at the same time rocks! Just plain great dynamic progressive metal! Every song is killer but my favorites are Freaks & Animals, El Empe, Alchemy Alice and Zdzislaw. I caught one of there shows in San Jose, Ca and they blew the doors down! RISHLOO is for real...
simply amazing
quite possibly the best unsigned release i own of any band. and of all the 400+ cd's i own, this is top ten material. i really hope these guys get signed because i cannot wait for their next release. their singer is amazing, the guitar-work is entrancing, the bass feels like a second heartbeat, and the drums are thunderous. if you are a fan of experimental progressive metal, buy this album. you will not be dissappointed.
