Album Review
El Concierto is a double disc set of Luis Miguel's greatest hits performed live in concert. Miguel throws in a couple of Mexican and mariachi standards that haven't appeared on his album, making the package a necessity for fans. In fact, El Concierto works as a good introduction to the singer, since it features his biggest hits and he gives a flashy, impassioned performance which shows why he is one of Latin music's biggest stars.

Great live album
After listening to this album I became an LM fan, albeit a "closet fan." I'm not Hispanic or Spanish, but this is a great compendium of Luis Miguel's songs, from the pop, to the traditional bolero, to the folk. When he sings them, I like them all. And I'm floored by how his voice (which is incredibly pleasant and just plain beautiful) holds until the end of an almost 2 hour concert. Having seen him in concert I can confirm that this album is not a product of digital remastering. He is just this good. Bravo.
