perthshire majesty
wow..this is great. i recently made all shore band and a good friend of mr. hazo guest conducted us, patrick burns(flight of years), and this piece is so very moving. mr. burns said usually the piece that has the fewest notes in your program will be the hardest and i found out that in this instance he was more than right. two words describe this piece: beautiful and moving. dare i not give all the credit to the composer though...this is an excenllently performed work. blending is awesome and this ensemble makes it sound more gorgeous than it was intended to be. it was intended to be very gorgeous
Perthshire Majesty
It's always a pleasure to be around Sam Hazo's music, whether I'm conducting it or just listening. This performance of Perthshire is exquisite and, knowing Sam, I believe he'll be very pleased with this gorgeous rendition delivered by the CSU Wind Ensemble.
