One of the most unusual and poetic groups I've heard

After hearing these two songs I bought their other album. There's something that sets them apart from others. I'm not sure if it's the poetry in their lyrics, the distinctive waltz rhythms, odd but wonderful instrumentation, or all of those packaged together, but they stick. I would love to see them perform live.

under Cafe Lights

While Elegy failed to capture my attention, Cafe Lights intrigued a purchase. To Travels and Trunks is far superior, and I caution Hey Marseilles to becoming too in-a-rut predictable. I want to see them do well, a beautifully-blended group! Also, I really think Hey Marseilles should have an exclamation after their name, evocative of our listening pleasure... Hey Marseilles! Thanks for your songs!
