Your head is not yet full
You cannot call yourself experienced if you haven't seen or heard this album. It is, admittedly, something of a period piece but so is A Clockwork Orange (if you get my drift). You will never understand the 80's electronic underground, or hallucinogenics, without hearing this record. If you can't bring yourself to buy the full offering, at least sample Dancing Ghosts or Meeting Mr. Evans (even though Temple Bar is worth the price of admission). Buy the video if you can find it - some songs won't sound as full without it.
One of their best...
I agree with the earlier reviewer - somewhat - it is a truly, and surprsingly, great album. And runs the gamut from their most acessable, to very challenging art. I recommend this for the newcomer as a great place to start. Side One (tracks 1-3 here) is very acessable, with perhaps their career highpoint being the much loved (by people who were here when it was released back in the early 1980's) "Dancing Ghosts" - a stunner and must be appreciated only after listening to the first track. Listening to other artists of the 1990's onward, one can hear clearly the influece of the geniuses Chris & Cosey (aka CTI). They did it first. And much, much better.
