Over produced and disappointing.
Heard her on Stern, and came to check out the album expecting to love it. I'm disappointed with the overproduction on the album. Her voice is solid and strong and she sounded great on the show with just her and the piano. Here her voice is all soft and buried under other noise and either faded out or she is singing really softly. Bought the song F*ck you, will take a pass on the album and keep my eye out. Maybe someday she'll put out something truer to her own sound ,which I think is great. Hopefully she'll hook up with someone who realizes that having her hold back with her voice and compensating with other noise isn't something she needs to do, and she'll put out an album where you can hear her talent. The songs are great and catchy, it's just disappointing that it's all so "popified"
