Fantastic record!

I've seen these guys play in Boston area many times, and they are really good live, but they also know what they're doing in the studio! The sound is reminds me of the Kinks, a little Stones, some Replacements, but MARS has unique sound at the same time. Great record!

Embracing Embracing

Pop-rock is alive and well and, apparently, living in Boston. This album is full of fun, tight, rocking jams that channel Wilco, Zombies, The Standells. Jangly, sweet, and smart, try listening to Persuaded in the car without tapping your steering wheel. I dare you.

This is the best MARS yet!

Great rock tunes served chilled with a twist of surf party... The band covers some new ground in this album-- and refines its unique retro-rock-and-pop-abilly sound. You've gotta love these guys.

The band was headed for split up in 1978 — regardless of their appearance on No New York — but managed to stay together...
