GMS's album debut on iTMS is a hit!
The psychedelic trance sounds of the duo that are the Growling Mad Scientists, Joe Quinteros and Sajahan Natkin, have emerged from the largely underground scene of outdoor Goa parties and psychedelic raves, and in a huge way. Emergecy Broadcast System, EBS, is one of their finest releases yet. Intense basslines combine with kick drums in the typical Israeli-style psy sound, while the duo's Ibiza nuances show through. "Fingers" is instantly bouncy with high-pitched synths while the sauntering intro beats of "I Can Feel Da Music" are a new territory for GMS. "Psychedelic Adventure" is mildly disappointing with predictable builds, yet "No Way" surprises with a morning-style sound. Modulated vocals appear far more than cinematic samples, which are a nice touch. And the classic "Juice" track reappears in a version recorded live. All in all, EBS is a fantastic release for GMS, and a great way to bring full-on psychedelic trance to the iTunes Music Store.
99.9% Good, 0.1% Cheese
I agree with one of the other reviewers who said GMS are akin to Infected Mushroom. For my tastes, I consider IM the gold standard of goa/psytrance/whateverthehellyouwanttocallit. I'd been looking for something for a long time that was remotely as enjoyable to listen to before I discovered GMS.

although the lyrics dont exceed my satisfaction within the ranges of the Gms spot, the psycho beats are pretty grats stuff. para lifear en las parties y para pullear hoes. tranca en tu auto y pulleatelas en la eskina como a special K q se la flipio bryan!
