These are OKAYYYY, but how about something recorded in the past 3 years???

Just to clarify for ppl these are OLD demos, these were recorded before their Avo EP was even made, before they were on a label, recorded not in forest's fancy new garage studio, but in his parent's house. Releasing all these demos is cool & all, but they used to give these away on their website... like if you knew them before they got signed to drive-thru they had all of these on their site after each one was recorded... & you could pretty much have em all for nada! Don't get me wrong... I think theyre good songs, (they eventually made really awesome versions of them all) but these are songs I listened to & thought to myself "wow, this band could probably go somewhere!" But now that they have, it seems like a weak release. The nostalgia trip is cool and all & I even bought the new cd release of Zombies to show some support (even though I already had two copies of the original release of it!)... But this system of drive-thru trying to milk their first (and deservingly so) platinum artist for all they can is getting tired! Let the boys make a new amazing record for us to drop cash on! (if you want more money how about putting their Baby, it's fact video onto iTunes or more live videos or something more constructive for us? Most of these were ALREADY on my ipod!)

Hardcore Hellogoodbye fans unite!

Ive been listening to Hellogoodbye now for a while and I have to say that these songs are all pretty good. The only thing that might cause non-hellogoodbye fans is the fact that theyre not exactly the best sounding songs out there. The quality is a bit on the downside but then again you have to remember that most of these songs were made on Forrest Kline's computer. So all in all these two new releases should keep HGB fans content until they release their new album later this year.

Great stuff... but

I like the old music a lot, but its kind of hard to justify buying it for 8 dollars when they were giving everything and more away as a free download on their website not too long ago. Good stuff though.

Biography

Formed: 2002 in Huntington Beach, CA

Genre: Alternative

Years Active: '00s, '10s

A group of quirky, fun-loving emo-rockers from California, Hellogoodbye seem to take as much influence from modern pop-punk as they do from the original Nintendo sound bleeps that held children captive in the late '80s. Formed by high-school friends in 2002, the group infused its playful brand of indie power pop with sugary sweetness, catchy dance beats, and enough energy to tire a group of five-year-olds. Hellogoodbye, named after a quote from Saved by the Bell's Screech Powers, is comprised of...
