Short, but brilliant...

When news of the demise of Year of the Rabbit came I was disapointed. I had been a fan of both Ken Andrews (Failure, ON) and Jeff Garber (Castor, National Skyline) for years. Year of the Rabbit was a dream combination for me, combining two of my favorite musicians into one dynamic force.
Apparently such a force can cause a clash of egos.
Luckily for me Jeff has once again moved on in a new (but familiar) direction with the Joy Circuit. Everything I loved about Year of the Rabbit, Castor and National Skyline have been merged together in this new project and it's simply brilliant work.
Garber's voice croons through every song with an emotion that's rarely heard in modern music. The guitars drive through every track keeping things up-tempo.
Simply put...this is a great cd. It's short, yes, but if you're a fan of National Skyline, Castor, Hum, Year of the Rabbit, or Failure you should get this cd.
