FINALLY available to own!
You'll recognize some of these from movie trailers -- most likely you were one of the people who thought, "I love that music in the trailer, but it wasn't on the soundtrack" -- well here you have some of them -- or at least "Preliator." Truth be told, I'm a bit disappointed that thye don't have more of Immediate Music's trailers on here. But check out my iMixes for other movie and movie trailer music, you'll find some old favorites and recent finds in there!
Why did this album get trashed in the reviews?!?!?
I think Globus did a wonderful job with this album. If you want to listen to Immediate Music, THEN LISTEN TO IT. This is a REMIX of the music, NOT AN EXACT COPY.This album illustrated, to me at least, what Globus is capable of in the future. Epsilon
OK songs
These songs are all OK on their own, but unfortunately they are not the ones you hear in popular movie trailers. They are just slightly remixed versions with a vocal track added. For instance, "Preliator" is a remake of the famous soungs "Lacrimosa", made famous by the Spider-Man 2 trailer. While these songs are averagely good, the original trailer music is what I wanted. Hopefully this will sell well enough that they will eventually sell their other CDs, such as Abbey Road and Song for Orchastra and Choir.
