Oy, what a rip-off.
Listen, I love Eraserhead. But I'm not gonna pay 10 bucks for ambient noise and "In Heaven."
Brilliance of film on CD
If you've seen this film and love it as I do, having the soundtrack on CD is nearly AS GREAT as the film itself. Like Clint Mansell's Requiem For A Dream score, this places you within the film. THINK of the film but in an audio format. BINGO. What more do U need to know as a Lynch fan to want this? I think I've made myself clear. Essentially an "audio book" of the film, using the true and original dialogue and music. PERFECT. This review references the originally released CD, not the even BETTER remaster (which these iTunes files are) version. If U have a deep love for ERASERHEAD and don't have it on CD or vinyl (scarce!), it's worth the ticket price to this audio FILM. A-freaking-mazing.
5 star soundtrack - 1 star for iTunes' greediness.
This should not be $9.99 (at the time of this review). In fact, go over to Amaz*on dot com and you can get it for $1.78 - the whole soundtrack. Avoid this greediness, but definitely pick it up.
