Album Review
While it didn't set the charts on fire like her previous albums, the ambitious Erotica contains some of Madonna's best and most accomplished music (including the hit singles "Deeper and Deeper" and "Rain"), even if it runs a bit long.

Overlooked, under respected, Erotica still shines.
One of Madonna's most overlooked albums ever, this cd is chock full of amazing songs both musically and lyrically. "Rain", "Erotica", "Bad Girl", "Deeper and Deeper" the list goes on. The music was gravely overshadowed by the "Sex" book, which came out at the same time. The attention from the album was shifted to Madonna's "private parts". Now, years later, we can listen to the songs without distraction and hopefully take away a greater message. In addition to the songs, Madonna put out some brilliant videos at this time. ("Bad Girl" and "Rain" are perhaps the best cinematic videos ever).
quite possibly her best work...
while most are justly on team 'Like A Prayer' or 'Ray of Light', a few Madonna fans (like myself) may call 'Erotica' her best studio album ever...the only thing going against it is that some of the songs run about a minute to long. Nevertheless, you will like this album; unless of course, sex makes you uncomfortable, then you might love it..
A must have
This has so many great songs on it. I still love listening to it 14 years later. The song waiting is brilliant!
